KERBY CAMPBELL

Pastor

Pastor Kerby Campbell was born in Statesville, North Carolina.  He was raised in a Christian home and attended a Christian school. At eight years old, he accepted Jesus as His Saviour during a chapel service.

He attended Liberty University, where he met his future wife, Kelli.  They have been faithfully serving the Lord for many years together.

In 1996, the Campbells moved to Marysville, Washington, to start Northwest Baptist Church.  The church grew miraculously.  They planned to stay there forever, but God had different plans.

In 2010, Pastor Campbell went in for a routine knee surgery, not knowing that when he came out, his life would never be the same.  The doctor caused a disease called Arachnoiditis, which is a lifetime of excruciating pain with no cure.  They had to resign from Northwest Baptist Church after 15 years there.

The Campbells started a new ministry called Treasured Trials to encourage others who have had their hopes and dreams shattered.  They traveled all over the US, bringing hope to hurting people.

After almost eight years, God miraculously healed Pastor Campbell and allowed him to pastor again.  For the last five years, he was able to serve at Park Meadows Baptist Church, in Lincoln, Illinois, until God called him to start Lone Star Baptist Church.

The Campbells are excited to be in central Texas and are happy to see what the Lord will do as they share the Gospel with those who want to know more about Jesus.

Pastor Campbell and his wife, Kelli, have two sons, Isaac and Jack.  Isaac and his wife, Bethany, have blessed the family with three grandbabies, Levi, Anna, and Esther.  Lolli and Pops enjoy every moment with them.  Jack is graduating this year and plans to get his pilot's license before college.
