KERBY CAMPBELL
Pastor
Pastor Kerby Campbell was born in Statesville, North Carolina. He was raised in a Christian home. At eight years old, he accepted Jesus as his Savior during a chapel service.
He attended Liberty University, where he met his wife, Kelli. Together, they have spent much of their lives faithfully serving the Lord and loving people.
In 1996, the Campbells moved across the country to Marysville, Washington, to start Northwest Baptist Church. God blessed the church greatly, and they planned to stay there forever, but God had different plans.
But in 2010, everything changed.
Pastor Campbell went in for a routine knee surgery, not knowing that when he came out, his life would never be the same. The doctor caused a disease called Arachnoiditis, which is a lifetime of excruciating pain with no cure. After 15 years at Northwest Baptist Church, they had to step away from the ministry they loved.
During those difficult years, Kerby and Kelli started Treasured Trials, a ministry created to encourage others who have had their hopes and dreams shattered. They traveled throughout the United States sharing their story and bringing hope and encouragement to hurting people.
After almost eight years, God miraculously healed Pastor Campbell and allowed him to pastor again.
Years later, God began working in his heart about central Texas. In 2023, the Campbells came to the Hutto area. They knew this was where God wanted them.
Today, Pastor Campbell serves as pastor of Lone Star Baptist Church. His heart is simple: preach the Bible, tell people about Jesus, love people, and help them grow in their walk with the Lord.
Kerby and Kelli have two sons, Isaac and Jack. Isaac and his wife, Bethany, have blessed the family with four grandbabies, Levi, Anna, Esther, and Mary. Lolli and Pops enjoy every moment with them. Jack is working in the area and serving faithfully at LSBC.

Isaac Campbell is the Assistant Pastor at Lone Star Baptist Church. He was raised in a Christian home and trusted Jesus Christ as his Saviour at five years old. He attended Bible College in California. He met his beautiful wife, Bethany, and they married in 2020. They have four children - Levi, Anna, Esther, and Mary.

We have an active and growing nursery and children's ministries. Your children will be lovingly care for by trained and background checked workers. Every service your child will learn Bible stories and songs, learn handbells, and play fun games that support the Bible lesson. Your children will love Lone Star Baptist Church.
